“I’ve been associated with Progressive Farm Credit Services for 12 years and as my farm operation has grown, they have continually met my financial needs, especially during the hard times we’ve all experienced. I added a poultry farm to my operation a couple of years ago and again PFCS proved to be by far the best choice for a lending institution.
“The employees are always friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend PFCS to anyone seeking the type of financial services they offer.”

“I have been a Farm Credit member since 1971. They took a chance on me when I was only 21 years old with no one to cosign. I have come to depend on them for a second opinion on any significant purchase that I plan to make.
“Their Patronage Refund Program makes you feel that you truly are one of the owners of Progressive Farm Credit.”

“As a young man fresh out of school I knew that I wanted to follow in my father’s and grandfather’s footsteps in agriculture. Since dad had already been with Farm Credit for over 20 years himself he said, “Come on son, let’s get you started”. Dad and I entered the Farm Credit building (known only in those days as PCA), Tom Love (Loan Manager) met us at the door, he said, “Come on back son, let’s get you in debt”. Tom and I discussed my many needs getting started and before long I was off and running. That was 1980, known throughout the country as “The Extreme Drought Year”. I had cash rented 500 acres of non-irrigated land in the Dudley, MO area and planted milo and soybeans. I lost a lot of money that year. Later that fall I went back to PCA to discuss my options. My loan officer and I devised a plan to drill irrigation wells and plant rice.
“That was 27 years ago and Farm Credit has stood behind me ever since in good times and bad. Farm Credit’s staff has always been courteous and helpful. I’ve never had a need to seek another lending agency.”
